Rabbi Ber Boruchoff

Rabbi Ber Boruchoff, another influential member of Boston’s Jewish Community fightinig for the Zionist cause, was the Rabbi at Congregation Beth Israel in Malden. In 1938 the congregation held a dinner in his honor.

When Rabbi Ber Boruchoff passed away, the community decided to honor his memory by planting a grove of trees in Israel in his name. George Kramer headed this project.
