The Golden Door

Depicting the migration of Jews to America, “The Golden Door” was a one act play put on in 1954 by the Kehillath Israel Sisterhood. Mary Wolfman Epstein, right, author and director of the show, adjusted the costume of the Statue of Liberty played by Rosalie Sterling as a Jewish immigrant looked on, played by Dorothy Sherman.
